Wolfgang Buchkremer has officially assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at The Packaging Group GmbH as of June 2, 2025. With over three decades of experience in the packaging sector, Buchkremer is poised to lead the company into its next phase of growth.
Prior to his appointment at TPG, he held significant positions at notable firms including Elopak, KHS, and SIG Combibloc. Wolfgang has a solid background in research, engineering, and technology development. He earned his Dipl. Ing. degree in Automation Technology from FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences.
In his new capacity, Buchkremer is dedicated to advancing the group’s growth strategy and enhancing the reputation of FAWEMA, HDG, and WOLF as trusted players in the global packaging market.
