Construction is moving swiftly at the new Molino Chiavazza facility in Torino, Northern Italy, where CESCO is overseeing the installation of a modern agricultural infrastructure plant. The project has reached a significant milestone with the completion of eleven corrugated steel sheet round silos, each measuring 12.2 meters in diameter, and four additional outloading silos, each 6.1 meters in diameter. Most of the associated chain conveyors have also been installed.
The project is scheduled for completion in late summer and is designed to support hygienic storage and logistics operations while aligning with broader goals of environmental sustainability and infrastructure modernization.
The facility is part of a broader redevelopment initiative converting former industrial zones into more sustainable and technologically advanced operations. During a recent site visit, CESCO CEO Martino Celeghini remarked on the pace and quality of the ongoing construction, noting the plant’s role in improving grain and protein meal transshipment efficiency between rail and truck transport.
