Nor-Feed reaffirms dedication to breakthrough botanical solutions

Nor-Feed, a subsidiary of Adisseo, is accelerating its development in animal nutrition by specialising in unique plant extract solutions. Since its acquisition by Adisseo two and a half years ago, the company has reaffirmed its dedication to innovative botanical approaches that align with Adisseo’s global strategy.

Located in Angers Technopole, France, Nor-Feed has expertise in sourcing and standardising active molecules from plants to reduce the reliance on antibiotics, coccidiostats, and pesticides. This focus was a significant factor in Adisseo’s investment in Nor-Feed in 2023, reinforcing the group’s commitment to enhancing productivity and sustainability in animal farming.

As part of the Adisseo family, Nor-Feed is primarily targeting solutions for swine and poultry, addressing issues like oxidative stress, coccidiosis, and various parasites. Collaborative research and development, along with industrial and commercial initiatives, are already underway, leveraging synergies between Adisseo and Nor-Feed to create holistic solutions for farmers worldwide.

Sebastian Marten, Executive Director for Specialties at Adisseo, stated: “The demand for botanical additives is strong on the strategic market segments Adisseo targets, the growth potential remains considerable, and all the teams are now well connected and aligned to meet our customers’ expectations.”

Olivier Clech, CEO of Nor-Feed, remarked: “We are enthusiastic to extract significant value from working as part of the Adisseo family. The many synergies we work on will further accelerate our growth in the years to come.”
