HUBUDER Board of Directors Meetings

The Board of Directors of the Cereals Suppliers Association (HUBUDER) decided to hold its board meetings in different cities of Turkey and organized its first trip to Konya. Within the scope of the review and meeting program held in Konya, Konya Commodity Exchange Science Center and Mevlana Museum were visited. In addition, HUBUDER members in Konya came together and current developments and collaborations related to the sector were discussed.

Intensive program in Konya

During its program in Konya, HUBUDER Board of Directors was hosted by Hüseyin Çevik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Konya Commodity Exchange and HUBUDER members from Konya. In addition to the meetings and examinations, the delegation visited the historical and cultural sites of Konya and made observations on the importance of the city in the agriculture and grain sector. During the examinations at Konya Commodity Exchange Science Center, innovative studies on agricultural technologies and grain production were discussed.

HUBUDER’s activities and history

HUBUDER is an important non-governmental organization operating with the aim of improving cereal production in Turkey, protecting the rights of producers and strengthening cooperation among stakeholders in the sector. The association carries out various projects to find solutions to the problems of grain producers, increase the competitiveness of the sector and contribute to agricultural policies.

HUBUDER aims to increase the knowledge of grain producers through training programs, seminars and field studies organized in recent years. It also plays an active role in representing the cereals sector on national and international platforms. The decision to hold board meetings in different cities also aims to establish direct communication with local producers and to examine regional problems on site.

HUBUDER Board of Directors thanked all HUBUDER members from Konya, especially Hüseyin Çevik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Konya Commodity Exchange, who contributed to the successful completion of the program in Konya. The association will continue to come together with its members in different cities in the coming period and contribute to the development of the grain sector.
