Grain Craft, a US-based wheat flour miller, has finalised its acquisition of Bunge’s North American dry corn milling assets.
The acquisition expands Grain Craft’s operations by adding around 600 employees and six milling facilities, which include three dry corn milling sites located in Crete, Atchison, and Danville. Additionally, it incorporates three dry masa facilities in Muleshoe, Red Oak, and Worthington. The purchase also includes a transloading and packaging facility in Querétaro, Mexico, plus a distribution warehouse in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
“After months of anticipation and preparation, we are excited to officially welcome our new Corn Milling team members to the Grain Craft family,” said Pete Frederick, President and CEO of Grain Craft. “We are looking forward to adding the experience and knowledge of this business to Grain Craft as we enter into providing an even broader spectrum of food ingredients for our customers.”
The deal, first announced in April, was officially completed in July.
