Farmers from the east and south of Ukraine can register for assistance through the State Agrarian Registry.
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), with the cooperation with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, will assist small and medium-sized farms and agricultural producers with land area of 10 to 500 hectares in providing spring wheat seeds.
In total, the assistance will be provided to 1 500 farmers from Chernihivska, Donetska, Dnipropetrovska, Kharkivska, Khersonska, Mykolaivska, Odeska, Sumska and Zaporizka, with a preference to those farms located near the front line. The amount of the support provided will depend on the area of cultivated land.
The closing date for registration is 10 March 2024.
After processing and analysis all received applications, selected programme participants will receive confirmation of assistance through the SAR and will be notified of the time and place of receiving assistance. Farmers will need to collect the provided seeds from the warehouse.
