The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) regulates the country’s Grain Handling industry. Also, it effectively certifies Canadian Grain standards and engages in pro-active Scientific Research relating to all aspects of Grain Quality.
The CGC provides Grain Quality Assurance Programmes including, Harvesting reports; Ensures an understanding of all changing aspects of Grain Quality; Provides key information on the safety of Grain product. Also, it supports successful, well-recognised Grain-Grading systems.
The key aim of the CGC is to protect producers’ rights and ensure the integrity of Grain transactions. The CGC Research and Data resources include, Statistics and Research Laboratory Testing Information. Also, Grain Harvest and Export Quality performance, via tests, parameters and Scientific Reports. These include published papers, Conference Minutes and expertly authored writings and targeted crop performance reports.
