The Animal Feed Technology and Nutrition (AFTaN) Awards, to be presented at Victam International 2026 in Utrecht, The Netherlands, recognise innovations in products, ingredients, additives, technologies, processes, and services relevant to livestock nutrition and the milling process. The awards focus on developments introduced to the market after January 2019 that demonstrate novelty, contribute to nutritional efficiency and/or safety, and provide significant practical value to the feed industry. Entries are assessed by an independent international judging panel and are open to eligible exhibitors whose submissions comply with the defined award criteria.
Applications deadline: Friday March 27th, 2026
Judging
A panel of independent, international industry experts will judge the entries. Their selection will be final. The Award will be announced during Victam International 2026 in Utrecht, The Netherlands on June 2nd, 2026.
How to enter
To participate, a nomination must be an innovative product, additive, ingredient, technology process or service suitable and applicable for inclusion in livestock diets and involve the milling process. The entry should comply with the following:
- Have been introduced to the market after January 2019
- Be new
- Make a contribution to nutritional efficiency and/or provide safety
- Demonstrate significant practical value
- Applications can be made by both exhibitors only

As the shortlist of nominations will be displayed at Victam International 2026, please be prepared to help supply a display (details of size and dimensions to be forwarded following application submission) to be set up in the Awards Area at Victam.
The Award
The winner will receive a Certificate plus a AFTaN trophy.
Runner’s Up will receive a Certificate of Achievement plus a trophy.
