The 4B Group has announced the opening of its new subsidiary, 4B Indonesia, based in Jakarta. This move is aimed at enhancing customer service and support across the region, particularly in bulk material handling, rice milling, and feedstock industries.
The new office and warehouse facility will allow 4B to respond more quickly to customer needs, reduce lead times, and provide local stock availability. Prior to this, Indonesia was serviced through 4B Australia. With Indonesia’s growing population and rising demand for animal protein, the local feed market is expanding rapidly, creating a need for efficient bulk storage and handling solutions.
Christian Chandra, Managing Director of 4B Indonesia, emphasized the importance of this expansion, stating that the new subsidiary will provide customers with faster service and direct access to 4B’s engineering expertise. The company offers a range of products, including elevator buckets, bolts, belts, chains, level controls, and hazard monitoring systems designed to improve safety and operational efficiency.
Paul Dennis, President Director of 4B Australia & Indonesia, highlighted the strategic importance of Indonesia and the company’s commitment to providing both world-class products and engineering solutions to meet the growing demand in the market.
This new facility marks a significant step in 4B’s efforts to expand its presence in Southeast Asia, building on its reputation for innovation and technical excellence in bulk material handling.
