The US Soybean Export Council (USSEC) has highlighted the advantages of US Soy in Southeast Asia’s feed industry, following its participation in VIV Asia 2025. According to a report, US Soy is gaining recognition for its nutritional value, consistent quality, and sustainability, offering cost savings and improved feed efficiency.
US Soy’s complete amino acid profile supports better digestibility, promoting growth and feed conversion. The higher energy content of US Soy improves feed efficiency, and its consistent quality reduces variability in feed formulations, making it a reliable ingredient for producers.
Southeast Asian feed producers can save $5–$10 per metric tonne in feed costs through the higher efficiency of US Soy. The US Soybean Export Council also provides optimisation tools for nutritionists and feed mills to improve performance.
US soybeans are naturally dried in the field before harvest, reducing the need for industrial drying and lowering the carbon footprint compared to soy from other regions. The US Soy Sustainability Assurance Protocol (SSAP) ensures verified sustainability, offering a reliable and eco-friendly supply.
USSEC continues to support Southeast Asia’s feed industry by promoting US Soy as a cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable ingredient in feed production.
