Delacon’s Small Step for Giant Leap in Market Growth

Feed-additive specialist DELACON  has recently established new regional sales administrations across the world. Meeting the need of their strong long-term market growth has driven the Austrian nutritional experts to branch out to the Asia and Pacific area (ASPAC), across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

In 2012 Asia became one of the largest sales regions for DELACON which is no surprise considering the rapid growth of the agricultural market in China and surrounding areas such as Cambodia. The local sales team has expanded the distribution network by appointing additional partners Sze Eng Kian who is Regional Manager North-East Asia, Gina Medina the Regional Manager South-East Asia, and Kevin Wang who becomes General Manager for China.

DELACON has also reorganized and expanded the EMEA sales region managed by Alban Llorca (EMEA regional manager). Bernard Paumelle has been appointed Business Development Manager, responsible for new market entries in the Middle East and Africa, another area where the industry is flourishing thanks to technological advances and education. Annelies Diericx, Area Manager for North-West Europe and Michael Binder, Area Manager for Central Europe are responsible for sales and distributor liaison in their respective areas.

As the largest researcher, producer and distributor of phytogenic feed additives in the world DELACON delivers solutions that improve animal welfare and nutritional efficiency, while reducing environmental impacts of animal production operations. Since 2010 the company has invested heavily in its research and development with a strong ethos in nurturing new talent to sustain its world-wide growth and innovative capital.

Introducing to IMD 2012/13: Newson Gale

Hello again and welcome to our latest installment of Introducing, this week we are pleased to introduce Newson Gale to IMD 2012/13.

For 30 years Newson Gale has been protecting people and business assets from the dangers of static hazards which according to the Institute of Chemical Engineers cause at least two serious fires or explosions everyday worldwide. While their areas of expertise include chemical & petrochemical distribution and the manufacturing of paints & solvents they provide a vital service to the international milling industry in the handling and storage of combustible organic ingredients such as flour and sugar.

They have a plethora of locations worldwide for the purpose of distribution and also operate from their main offices in UK, the US and Germany. Newson Gale are probably best recognised for their advanced techniques in static grounding and spark protection and have developed several important products to achieve this.

The Earth-Rite FIBC system verifies the resistance and safe grounding of“Big-Bags” or “Super-Sacks” in combustible or flammable atmospheres. This advanced system ensures that resistance of the flexible container is within the correct parameters as specified by International Hazardous Area Static Control Codes of Practice according to Newson Gale. It is also capable of interlocking with filling/discharge machinery or control/alarm systems to prevent dangerous levels of accumulation of static electricity.

They are also responsible for the Earth-Rite Multipoint for specialized plant and equipment situated in combustible or flammable atmospheres, with several potentially isolated conductive components (such as dryers, filling and conveying systems and is also corrosion resistant and made of hygiene clean stainless steal.

Once again we are delighted to be welcoming such and important and prestigious enterprise to the International Milling. For more information on Newson Gale and its products please visit their profile page with IMD or visit www.newson-gale.co.uk.
